Make Money With eBay!
How to make money using eBay!
How to make money
from home:
There is a legitimate way to make money from
home that I know of, without being ripped off, or investing a ton of
money. Most people would not need to work from home if they had
sufficient income to invest. Most people want to earn money from
home as a second source of income.
The first way to make money from home is to
start an eBay!
business. You can start this with no money to invest.
Go to eBay!
and open an account it’s
free.
Then open an account with PayPal
this service is also free. The way I started was by selling
junk around the house that I did not need or used. For example, I
bought a new radar detector for my car, and I stored the old one. I
had several x-box games that I didn’t play anymore, and I had a ton
of basketball, football, and baseball cards that I had collected
when I was a kid. I also use to play paintball, so I had many
accessories and of course my paintball gun. My wife had some jewelry
that was no longer in “style”, that she didn’t want anymore.
eBay!
is very easy to use and you don’t need to be a webmaster or
have a degree in computing to set up your auctions. eBay!
guides you
step by step as to how to set up your auction and even upload
pictures of your stuff to their website. After I collected all the
“junk” I didn’t want I began to list them on eBay!
I had 154 items
that I wanted to sell. I took me about a week to list everything
working part time on this project after work for about 2 hours a
day. When it was all set and done my auctions began to run. By
uploading one picture and listing the auction for 5 days, I was
billed .79 cents for each item that I listed, at 154 items I owed
eBay $121.66. At this point, I thought it was a bad idea, since I
had not made any money and already owed $121.66 to eBay! . At the
end of the 5 days, my total auctions amounted to $1,526.35! Not bad
for being “junk”, that I was going to throw out. Then the hard part
was to ship all 154 items to their new owners. This didn’t cost me
anything because eBay!
has software that calculates shipping costs to
the winning bidders. The buyer pays for shipping!
eBay!
does take a
small commission of your earnings from the sale, but its worth it.
The way PayPal
works is they collect the payments for you. Other wise you
have to setup a merchant account with a bank to take credit card
payments. I analyzed this and wasn’t really cost efficient. You have
to lease equipment, keep a certain amount of money and they charge
you a processing fee. PayPal
takes the credit card payments for you and takes a small
percentage of the sale. You can either have your money direct
deposited into your bank account free, or you can request a check
and they charge a fee for that. I had my money direct deposited into
my account. At the end of the day, I had a total of $1258.58 direct
deposited into my account. Not bad at all, but I will tell you that
it takes some work and effort in your part to keep up with potential
bidders e-mailing you questions, getting shipping info for them and
etc. If you need further instruction post your comments on this
websites discussion board, I check it quite frequently and I can
answer most of your questions, if I cant answer it a user from this
site will help you out.
